The Ronnie Fieg x Gel-Lyte III “Tokyo Trio” is one of three colorways of the venerable retro runner imagined by the New York based sneaker designer in Summer 2020. Seen here is “252.1” edition, which is based on Fieg’s original, Japan-only “252 Pack” collaboration from way back in 2007. Elements from the first “252” are featured throughout the modern incarnation. A predominately black nubuck construction highlights the look. Metallic gold leather Tiger Stripe detailing appears on both sides and plush red and pink pigskin suede can be found on the dotted toe. Tonal “” branding appears on the heel and “Gel-Lyte III” graces the lateral side. Dual “Fieg” and “” detailing is printed on the insole. The Gel-Lyte III retains its traditional split tongue design on the “Tokyo Trio.” Release date: July 27, 2020.
